Brill Power and Fellten come together to integrate systems and advance battery technology
Brill Power and Fellten have announced a battery technology partnership across the automotive, marine, and energy storage sectors. The collaboration will integrate Brill Power’s innovative Universal Operating System, BrillOS, with Fellten’s advanced battery systems.
Christoph Birkl, CEO at Brill Power said:
“We’re proud to partner with such an influential and reputable company as Fellten. The Fellten team’s expertise in battery systems and electric vehicle technology will create significant opportunities within the UK and beyond.”
The alliance will enhance the competitiveness and quality of battery solutions. By embedding BrillOS into Fellten’s battery packs, the partnership will boost production capabilities and support the UK’s Battery Strategy. This strategy is designed to strengthen supply chains and facilitate the transition to battery electric vehicles (BEVs).
BrillOS is a standout feature of the partnership. It’s a flexible and chemistry-agnostic solution, supporting a range of battery types, including Lithium-ion and sodium-ion. It’s compatible with various Battery Management Systems. This adaptability ensures that Fellten can efficiently scale production to meet growing demands. Additionally, BrillOS monitors battery safety, state of charge, and power capabilities through over-the-air updates. Altogether, that seriously minimises maintenance requirements.
Fellten’s battery systems are already deployed worldwide, handling diverse and challenging conditions across vehicles and energy storage applications. The partnership will leverage Brill Power’s expertise and Fellten’s global reach to deliver superior battery solutions on a broader scale.
Chris Hazell, Co-Founder and CEO at Fellten commented:
“Partnering with Brill Power allows us to leverage its cutting-edge technology to offer superior battery solutions to our customers worldwide. Quality and reliability are always our top priorities, and this collaboration marks a significant step forward in our future expansion plans.”
