Alpha Motor Corporation have just launched their new electric Wolf truck to the world. The American electric carmaker, who first launched their Ace coupe last year, revealed the new all-electric two-seater pick-up to the world on YouTube (see below). The new truck will be built on the company’s shared electric platform that is used for the Alpha Ace, Icon Utility truck and recently announced Jax off-road style vehicle.
The Wolf is a two-person utility truck with a spacious rear cargo bed on an electric platform. It combines versatile driving performance, durability and best of all clean zero-emissions driving power. It’s available in both two and four-wheel-drive versions with a towing capacity of 1360kg (3000lbs).
The Wolf will be equipped with a 75 to 85 Kilowatt-hour Lithium-Ion battery with an estimated 275 miles (443km) of range. This makes it quite a nippy little mover that can accelerate from 0-62mph (0-100kph) in just over six seconds.
The Wolf has several advanced interior features including a digital centre display driver-centric and digital speedometer. It also has ergonomically bolstered seating with multi-layered centre console storage. Plus, the Wolf comes with multiple charging ports for electronic devices and audio speakers.
Alpha said: “Wolf strongly demonstrates the range and versatility of the Alpha ACE product line, and is designed for consumers looking for a solid four-wheel-drive utility truck without the carbon emissions. More importantly, it represents Alpha’s commitment to move humanity with innovations in electric vehicle modularity, customisation flexibility, and practicality.”
