Qmerit partners with Affinity EV to expand its emobility presence across the US
Affinity EV, a Galway-based start-up, has secured a contract worth up to €40 million over the next three years. The company has entered a multi-year partnership with Qmerit, which will see Affinity EV become Qmerit’s partner in the US and Britain.
Affinity EV offers a software platform that helps car dealerships sell EV packages, including charging solutions. It already works with well-known dealerships and several energy suppliers.
Qmerit has a strong presence in the US, and is a partner of the upcoming US EV SUMMIT. Overall, the company has already installed over 450,000 EV charge points. Affinity EV will help set up charging departments in thousands of US dealerships under the partnership.
Affinity EV is also looking to expand further. It is currently raising €1.5 million to support its growth, with €825,000 already secured. The company is in talks with other potential partners, including a possible deal in Australia and discussions with major automakers like Ford.
The US EV SUMMIT is coming on the 15th of October this year to propel the ever-expanding US EV sector. As emobility takes flight across the US, now is the time to get involved at the ground floor, in the room with the country’s major EV decision makers and key players.
