Adam Wood appointed MD of Renault UK, as brand’s electrification continues

  • Adam Wood has newly been appointed as the Managing Director of Renault Group UK, as of October.
  • It marks a return to Renault for Wood, who after previously leaving Renault Group back in 2021, worked as Marketing Director for Vauxhall and Managing Director for Peugeot UK.
  • Wood replaces Guillaume Sicard as the MD of Renault UK, who is moving on to a role as Vice President of Renault Brand for France.

Change at Renault UK

Wood’s appointment comes at a key time for Renault, as the brand continues to offer an increasing number of fully-electric vehicles, from the Renault 5 E-Tech, to the soon-to-be-revealed Renault 4 E-Tech. Having recently overseen UK launches of fully-electric models such as the Peugeot E-3008 and E-5008 in his most recent tenure, Wood is in a good position to continue that expertise when it comes to Renault’s growing EV portfolio in the UK.

In his earlier Renault Group roles, Wood held several key titles at the company – including Marketing Director, Head of Marketing Communications, and Brand Director for the Dacia brand.

Adam Wood commented:

“I am proud to return to Renault UK to lead the business at such an exciting time. Renault has real momentum and, with the iconic Renault 5 E-Tech 100% electric and Renault 4 E-Tech 100% electric set to strengthen our zero-emission product line-up even further, I look forward to building on our success.”
