AC Cars in the UK offer a personal invitation to potential buyers to test drive the new AC Cobra Series 1 electric car

AC Cars in the UK is hard at work electrifying their range of classic AC Cobra supercars, as well as other models. A series of announcements in recent months have shown the development of the latest zero-emissions and near-silent AC electric vehicles (EVs). The company is now opening up for the world to see the new AC Cobra Series 1 electric car.

With so few people outside of the AC team having seen or driven the new electric cars, the company is offering serious potential buyers the chance to see and experience the new model from the passenger seat. A lucky few may even be invited to take the wheel.

The AC Cobra Series 1 is in keeping with the classic AC models and offers an equally impressive performance. The torquey Series 1 features a 55kWh battery that allows it to hit 0-62mph (0-100kph) in around four seconds. On a more practical level, this sporty modern classic still offers nearly 150 miles (241km) of range.

Just 58 examples of the AC Cobra Series 1 electric car will be made, celebrating the anniversary of the production of the first AC Cobra. It comes with a £138,000 price tag and will be available in four unique AC Car colours including electric blue, electric black, electric white and electric green.

If you think you’d like to know more and see if you qualify for testing and be in with a chance of driving one of these modern classic electric sports cars then see here. Testing and viewing will take place at the Brooklands Museum.
