2026 marks the seven consecutive year of Women Leading EV. (formerly Top Women in EV), helping to celebrate the women shaping the future of emobility.
Over the years, the campaign has built remarkable reach and resonance across the global EV ecosystem, regularly achieving close to one million LinkedIn views in a single week. More importantly, it has become a trusted and influential platform for visibility, recognition and collective progress at a time when women remain significantly underrepresented across emobility and the wider automotive sector.
Women Leading EV. exists to change that narrative. The campaign amplifies the voices of women driving the industry forward—those in senior leadership roles, those scaling businesses, and those advocating, lobbying and unlocking growth across markets worldwide.
Each year, women from across the industry submit nominations and recommendations spanning multiple countries and regions. These entries are curated into thematic categories and guided through a rigorous selection process, culminating in ten finalist nominees per category. Throughout the week of celebration, the finalists are revealed day by day, shining a global spotlight on the women leading EV – today and into the future.
