Ford appoints Maria Grazia Davino as Vice President of Sales for Ford of Europe

Ford appoints Maria Grazia Davino, bringing automotive experience from BYD and Stellantis.

Ford has appointed Maria Grazia Davino as Vice President, Sales at Ford of Europe, who is taking on the role from 1st October. She will lead sales across the region and oversee all commercial operations, including retail, the dealer network and distribution, reporting directly to Jim Baumbick, the President of Ford of Europe.

Maria brings over 20 years of experience from across the automotive industry, spanning sales, marketing and business transformation. She comes most recently from BYD Europe, where she served as regional managing director, leading operations across Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Poland, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and the Nordic countries.

Before BYD, Maria spent over a decade in senior leadership roles across Stellantis. Most recently at Stellantis she was Group Managing Director and CEO for Stellantis UK, where she led the business through its transition to electric vehicles. Earlier in her Stellantis career she held responsibility for European sales and marketing, alongside running the businesses in Switzerland, Austria, Germany and the UK.

The appointment comes as Ford sharpens its focus on the European market, with a strategy built around strengthening Ford Pro, its commercial vehicle business, while also bringing five new passenger car models to showrooms by 2029, including fully-electric options.

Jim Baumbick, President of Ford of Europe, commented:

“Maria Grazia is a highly accomplished leader with deep expertise across the European automotive landscape. Her track record of building high-performing teams and building strong customer and dealer relationships will be invaluable as we continue to grow our business in Europe.”
