Vauxhall has just released details of their new Movano-e Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV). It’s Vauxhall’s first large LCV to be available as a fully electric variant and it offers zero emissions, low running costs and comes with a range of up to 139 miles (224km).
The Movano-e lines up alongside Vauxhall’s Vivaro-e and, from later this year, the Combo-e. This means Vauxhall will offer a fully electric version across its entire LCV range and remains on course to deliver an electrified version of all its cars and vans by 2024.

The Movano-e features a 90kW (122PS) electric motor and is available with either a 37kWh or 70kWh battery. These deliver ranges of 72 miles (116km) and 139 miles (224km) respectively. The battery is located under the floor which helps with vehicle handling and doesn’t compromise load volume.
Being zero-emissions makes the Movano-e perfect for urban environments and last-mile deliveries. Like Vauxhall’s other fully electric LCV models, the Movano-e is exempt from current ultra-low emission and congestion charge payments.
The Movano-e will also be available as a chassis cab, a chassis crew cab and a platform cab with a single row of three seats. Vauxhall will also offer four wheelbase lengths and three height options, with load volumes from 8.0 to 17 cubic metres. The Movano-e has a maximum payload of up to 2,100kg.

Paul Wilcox, Vauxhall managing director, said: “With the introduction of All-New Movano-e, Vauxhall is now one of very few brands offering an electric variant across its entire LCV range.
“This gives buyers the choice to go fully electric to suit the needs of their business and benefit from the environmental, ownership cost and user experience benefits they offer. As a brand, Vauxhall is committed to offering an electrified variant across its entire car and van range by 2024.”
The Movano-e will go on sale this summer.
