EV SUMMIT confirms full line-up of panel sponsors for 2022 event

The annual EV SUMMIT, which returns for the fifth year, have announced its panel sponsors for the 2022 event. This year the EV SUMMIT will focus on growth, investment and decarbonisation.

The event will take place at Oxford University’s Saïd Business School in partnership with Oxford City Council and Oxford County Council, and in association with Oxford University and Oxford Brookes University, to deliver on decarbonised transport in the UK and beyond.

The two Oxford universities and the city council have pioneered technology and policy in the emobility sector, and the SUMMIT has led to significant projects coming into being. This includes Europe’s most powerful electric vehicle (EV) hub, Energy Superhub Oxford.

The EV SUMMIT 2022 will take place across two days on Monday 12 and Tuesday 13 December. It will once again see the world’s most significant gathering of emobility experts across business, and local and national government come together to deliver on decarbonised transport in the UK and beyond for a more sustainable future.

The SUMMIT will feature 10 panels across two days covering the significant business issues on the rapid transition to emobiity. Each panel features discussions with leaders from that space.

The full list of panel sponsors are:

    Visa

    Shell Recharge

    Improved Corporate Finance

    Connected Kerb

    Geotab

    ABB

    Auto Trader

    BP Pulse

    FLEETCOR

    Scottish Power

Along with being a panel sponsor, Visa is also the headline partner for the panel event at the EV SUMMIT. Fleete will also be the evening reception sponsor.

Each panel will feature four leaders from that sector discussing the important issues around the subject. For example, the Visa Panel will discuss frictionless payments and how EV charging can be made as easy as buying a coffee. The Auto Trader Panel will discuss how to grow EV adoption and how to make EVs easier to afford, charge and buy.

We will bring you a full list of the panels and their panellists as they are released.

Ade Thomas, EV SUMMIT founder, said: “This year’s EV SUMMIT has our most significant line-up of panel partners, yet, with major organisations in the emobility sector like ABB, Shell and BP Pulse, as well as some of the most exciting relatively recent entrants like Geotab and Connected Kerb.

“In our fifth year, the 2022 EV SUMMIT will, I’m sure, carry on its tradition of delivering some major partnerships in the coming years as a result of the involvement of these and other organisations.”
