TATA.ev boosts India’s EV ecosystem with first stores in Gurugram
On December 21, India’s electric vehicle market reached a new height as TATA.ev launched its first stores. These stores are located in Gurugram, Haryana.
This momentous occasion cements TATA.ev’s commitment to providing affordable and sustainable electric vehicles to Indian consumers.
In a recent report by The Times of India (TOI), Tata Motors’ EV division will unveil a new electric SUV in January. Positioned as the most affordable option in its category, this electric SUV is poised to disrupt the market and help drive the adoption of EVs across the nation.
The newly launched stores serve as a physical embodiment of TATA.ev’s brand ethos. Community, sustainability, and technology form the foundation of its mission.
Embodying the philosophy of “Design with Meaning,” these sustainable spaces demonstrate a strong commitment to environmental responsibility. From the initial design and construction to day-to-day operations, sustainability is at the heart of these stores. All major materials used are either recycled or recyclable. They focus on locally sourced materials to minimise reliance on long-distance transportation and reduce emissions.
These stores also offer a physical space for the community to come together. This enables like-minded individuals to collaborate in creating a better tomorrow. TATA.ev’s stores will to encourage engagement and inspire a shared sense of purpose. They’ll achieve this through events, workshops, or simply facilitating meetings between fellow enthusiasts.
Vivek Srivatsa, Head of Marketing, Sales, and Service Strategy at Tata Passenger Electric Mobility stated:
“It truly takes a village. Our dealers, agency partners, consultants, and of course, the team at TATA.ev have made this dream a reality not just for the brand but also for the country.”
The stores will be open to the public from the 7th of January 2024.
