DAF Trucks is introducing the New Generation DAF XB trucks, setting a new standard in city distribution vehicles within the 7.5 to 19-tonne class. This innovative series, featuring an XFC construction truck, seamlessly integrates environmental consciousness with unparalleled efficiency, safety, and comfort. Expanding upon DAF’s acclaimed product range, the XB all-electric trucks will be available in 12, 16, and 19-tonne variants. They will exemplify the pinnacle of highly efficient zero-emission battery electric vehicles. The models are tailored to empower transport companies on their path to zero-emission road transport.
DAF XB Electric
DAF is the pioneering European truck manufacturer to introduce a comprehensive lineup of battery electric trucks to the market.
The compact 12-tonne XB Electric model is for zero-emission city distribution. It features a single entry step and offers versatile wheelbase options, starting from 4.2 meters. For applications demanding higher payloads, the XB Electric is also available in 16 and 19-tonne configurations.
The cutting-edge e-motor in the new DAF XB Electric provides a nominal power of 120 or 190 kW, depending on specifications, and a nominal torque of 950 and 1,850 Nm (with peak values of 2,600 and 3,500 Nm). The lithium ferro phosphate (LFP) high energy density battery packs are free of cobalt and magnesium. They boast capacities ranging from 141 to 282 kWh. That enables impressive ranges of up to 350 kilometers of ultra-quiet and zero-emission driving.

DAF XD Electric: Setting the standard for zero-emission distribution excellence
The XD Electric stands as the premier choice for regional and national zero-emission distribution. It will serve diverse applications such as supermarket supply and waste collection. Propelled by the robust and efficient PACCAR EX-D1 or PACCAR EX-D2 permanent magnet e-motor it features power outputs spanning from 170 kW/230 hp to 350 kW/480 hp. A comprehensive selection of battery packs, ranging from 2 to 5 strings, ensures zero-emission ranges exceeding 500 kilometers. Leveraging intelligent vehicle and charging management, the XD Electric achieves an impressive daily mileage of up to 1,000 kilometers.
DAF XFC: Engineered for rigorous operating conditions
DAF’s XFC, engineered for vocational and construction applications, stands ready for the most challenging tasks. Available with single or double drive options, the XFC is purposefully designed to excel in demanding conditions. Equipped with either a 10.8-litre PACCAR MX-11 engine or a 12.9-litre PACCAR MX-13 engine, this robust truck ensures high payloads without compromising its low kerb weight.
Versatility is a hallmark of the XFC. This model features a substantial approach angle, ample ground clearance, and a distinctive exterior design highlighted by a robust bumper, grille, and a steel radiator protection plate. Available in 4×2, 6×4, and 8×4 axle configurations, the DAF XFC provides a reliable and adaptable solution for various vocational and construction needs.
The flagship: DAF XG+
The DAF XG+ takes the lead in the New Generation DAF trucks series, symbolizing the next era in long-distance transportation. It embraces the latest European Masses & Dimensions regulations. The model features an aerodynamic design for optimal fuel efficiency and a practical low window belt line for an excellent direct view. With a focus on driver comfort, the XG+ offers a generous 12.5 m3 of interior space, setting a new benchmark in the industry.
