Hyundai Motor Company reveal its smallest electric car to date

Hyundai Motor Company has revealed its smallest electric car to date and possibly the best Christmas present any child could ever receive. The one-off mini electric car is based on Hyundai’s 45 Concept crossover electric car shown to the world in 2019 at the International Motor Show (IAA) in Frankfurt.

Hyundai’s designers adapted the signature kinetic cube lamp design of the 45 Concept electric car along with its angular yet smooth profile to create this yet-to-be-named electric car. It also sports the company’s performance blue exterior with orange accents.

This neat little electric car packs two DC motors that push it to a blistering top speed of 4.35mph (7kph). Only the bravest souls will take the wheel of this speedster. To boost driver confidence, Hyundai designers took inspiration from motorsports by placing just one seat in the middle of the car.

In keeping with the 45’s design heritage theme, Hyundai has built this unique passenger vehicle out wood because it’s a traditional eco-material. This new electric car does not have an officially rated driving range yet, but the driver’s laughter is believed to fuel the vehicle to travel further based on its Emotion Adaptive Vehicle Control (EAVC) technology.

Further details will be revealed soon on how this one-of-a-kind electric will offer a unique mobility experience for young customers. Hyundai Motor Company has revealed the first glimpse of its smallest electric car yet, with the video below that sketches its unique and innovative construction.
