Digital agency Green.TV, who are behind hugely successful global events including the EV Summit, World EV Day and the Decarbonisation Summit, have announced the launch of an exciting new electric vehicle (EV) event at Oxfordshire’s iconic Blenheim Palace. The event will take place on 7-8 May 2022,
This new event will provide insights and driver experiences for anyone looking to learn more about electric vehicles. Lots of people are increasingly hearing about electric vehicles but not many have had the chance to drive one, so this event will give them hands-on experience with free test drives in the beautiful countryside surrounding Blenheim Palace.
This will be an exciting experience for visitors who can test all the shiny new models from the biggest electric vehicle producers. It will also be a reassuring experience because driving an electric vehicle is super easy and similar to that of driving a regular internal combustion engine (ICE) car.
Hopefully, this will reassure visitors and show that going electric won’t be such a huge shift, along with all the positive benefits including cheaper running costs, less maintenance and, most importantly, a cleaner and more sustainable way of motoring.
As well as the test drives there will be loads of display cars, most of which people will be able to get in and out off and get up close, to get a hands-on experience of electric cars.
EV Live will have experts on hand across the spectrum of the electric vehicle space to help educate visitors on zero-emissions driving. These include car retailers, leasing companies, electric vehicle subscription companies, charging companies and even second-hand electric car dealers.
If people want to find out about anything regarding driving and living with an electric car there will be plenty of experts around to talk them through it. This will be especially useful for people who haven’t interacted much with electric vehicles and they will be able to find out everything they need to know. Plus, they will be able to bust all the myths about range anxiety, batteries issues and charging.
Heather Carter, Blenheim Palace operations director, said: “We are excited to be hosting EV LIVE at Blenheim Palace in 2022, we are committed to work with partners, such as Green.TV to tackle climate change.
“We are already EV converts ourselves, having started to electrify our estate fleet back in 2018. Now we are looking forward to hosting this new event at the Palace to encourage our visitors to switch to an electric vehicle and reduce their emissions on the road.”
Ade Thomas, Green.TV founder and co-founder of the EV Summit, said: “Blenheim Palace have a commitment to go net zero by 2027. We’re delighted to be working with Blenheim Palace on the EV LIVE event to encourage consumers to choose zero emissions vehicles. EV LIVE, at Blenheim Palace, will bring education around EVs, with test drives, education and sustainability at the core of the event.”
We will bring your more details and those involved soon. For more information, see EV Live at Blenheim Palace.
