CEO of Lucid Motors, Peter Rawlinson, is hosting a new series of technology talks on YouTube. Named the Lucid Tech Talks, the new series uncovers some of the secrets behind Lucid’s proprietary electric vehicle (EV) technology.
Lucid Motors, who successfully launched its Lucid Air electric vehicle last year, have gone on to achieve several accolades with it. The Lucid Air Dream Edition R has achieved the longest range for a production electric vehicle covering 520 miles (837km) from a single charge.
Not only has this vehicle stolen Tesla’s range crown but the same vehicle also has the fastest charging battery available on the market. It features a charging rate of up to 300kW delivering 20 miles (32km) per minute, so it can offer a phenomenal 300 miles (480km) of range from just 20 minutes of charging.
In the first episode of Lucid Tech Talks, which is available now on Lucid Motors’ YouTube channel, Peter opens up the battery module and share the keys to achieving the Air’s revolutionary range. It’s an interesting watch, shows Rawlinson’s passion for electric vehicles and best of all is understandable for all.
