Everrati to display their 1991 Porsche 911 electric sports car at the Goodwood festival of speed

Everrati Automotive Limited will be revealing its flagship 500 brake horsepower  ‘Signature’ wide body model electric sports car at this year’s Goodwood Festival of speed. The zero-emissions modern classic, which is based on a 1991 Porsche 911 964, will be on display at the Michelin Supercar Paddock.

Everrati are a leading technology company that specialises in redefining and futureproofing iconic cars through the integration of the latest electric vehicle (EV) powertrains. The company is also working in collaboration with Michelin tyres which will be fitted to all Everrati builds.

Based in Oxfordshire, Everrati completely restores and provides tailored electric power solutions to some of the most iconic cars in the world. These include the Porsche 911, Mercedes ‘Pagoda’ and Series IIA Land Rover. They feature carbon fibre body elements and state-of-the-art electric powertrains.

The remastered Porsche 911 features a 53kWh battery pack that offers a range of more than 150 miles (241km). It’s an impressive mover too hitting 0-62mph (0-100kph) in under four seconds.

Former British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) Champion and Porsche Carrera Cup Driver’s Champion, Tim Harvey, has supported much of the car’s development. Alongside TV’s Vicki Butler-Henderson, Harvey will be on stage at the Michelin Supercar Paddock.

Justin Lunny, Everrati CEO, said: “When we launched Everrati in 2019, it was our mission to create the most desirable, technically advanced, sustainable, zero-emission iconic cars in the world.

“To fulfil that vision, and to provide discerning customers with a peerless product engineered with industry-leading technology, rigour and attention to detail, we assembled an elite engineering team from OEM, supercar, motorsport, aerospace and EV technology backgrounds.”

The ‘Signature’ widebody flagship Porsche 911 delivers 500Nm of torque. The weight balance is identical to the internal combustion version, it just happens to produce twice the power. This is impressive, and surely more than enough torque and power to convert even the biggest petrolhead.

Finding a tyre that could cope with such power and offer proper road handling  wasn’t easy for Everrati. In the end, they opted for Michelin’s Pilot Cup Sport 2 which matched their needs. Everrati have also partnered with InstaVolt to provide drivers of its cars access to rapid and ultra-rapid public charging.

Over the coming months, Everrati’s ‘Signature’ wide body will continue to undergo its full development programme. A small number of Signature commissions are available to order now for delivery in late 2021. Prices for each commission begin at £250,000 plus relevant taxes, based on a customer-supplied donor car.
