Following a hugely successful first day, the 2022 EV SUMMIT drives forward today on emobility

Many of the world’s most significant global emobility experts across business and local and national governments came together to deliver on decarbonised transport in the UK and beyond for a more sustainable future.

The event is delivered by Green.TV Media in partnership with Oxford City Council and Oxford County Council, and in association with Oxford University and Oxford Brookes University. Today, more leading experts in the emobility space will continue the discussion on we can come together to deliver on cleaner greener transport in the UK and beyond for a more sustainable future.

The EV SUMMIT has seen the two Oxford universities and the city council pioneer technology and policy in the emobility sector and the SUMMIT has led to significant projects coming into being. This includes Europe’s most powerful electric vehicle (EV) hub, Energy Superhub Oxford, located at the Redbridge Park and Ride.

Energy Superb Oxford was born out of meetings at the first EV SUMMIT held in 2018. Along with Oxford’s City and County Councils, Fastned, the European fast charging company, was integral in making this £41 million project happen.

Today, the EV SUMMIT will feature five more panels over day covering the significant business issues on the rapid transition to emobiity. Each panel will features discussions with leading experts from that space.

Panel sponsors include Visa, Shell Recharge, Improved Corporate Finance, Connected Kerb, Geotab, ABB, Auto Trader, BP Pulse, FLEETCOR and Scottish Power. Along with being a panel sponsor, Visa is also the headline partner for the panel event at the EV SUMMIT.  ElectriX will also be sponsoring the evening reception.
