Alpha Motor Corporation from the USA have just unveiled their new crew-cab Superwolf electric pick-up truck. It joins serval other Alpha pick-up models including the Wolf, Wolf+ and Wolf+ Cloudbreak and a long list of trucks from many of the big names including Bollinger, Ford, Hummer, Lordstown, Rivian and Tesla, which we recently gave you the low down on.
The latest iteration of the classic Alpha design shares the same electric architecture that powers the previously shown Wolf+. This new electric pick-up is designed as a multi-purpose adventure vehicle that further expands utility and interior space.
The Superwolf is customisable and designed with practicality in mind. The cabin accommodates four passengers and a large rear truck bed for cargo. The truck bed measures approximately 1652mm (65in) in length, 1490mm (59in) in width, and 458mm (18in) in depth. This will offer a total of 40 cubic feet of truck bed storage.
Alpha are working with a range of suppliers to make this pick-up customisable for customers personal needs. These include Mountain Top with their retractable tonneau covers along with KMC wheels and Heimplanet storage boxes.
Alpha intends to equip the Superwolf with a 75-85kWh battery that will deliver an estimated 275 miles (443km) of range. The four-wheel-drive will have a towing capacity of 3,050kg (6,724lbs) and enough power see it to accelerate from 0-60 mph (97kph) in 6.5 seconds.
The Superwolf will measure approximately 5,450mm (214in) in length, 1995mm (79in) in width and 1760mm (69in) in height. Prices for the Superwolf start from $48,000 and reservations are now open.
