Drivers can enjoy a 20% charging discount thanks to Allstar and Be.EV’s partnership
Throughout June, Allstar drivers will receive a 20% discount on charging at Be.EV charge points. This partnership adds over 500 new EV charge points to the Allstar network, making it easier and cheaper for drivers to power their vehicles.
The promotion is active from June 12 to July 12, to align with Be.EV’s newly reduced pricing tariff. Fast chargers are now available at 44p/kWh, rapid chargers at 52p/kWh, and ultra-rapid chargers at 60p/kWh. These rates are up to 25% lower than previous prices.
Ashley Tate, MD of Allstar Chargepass® UK, commented:
“We’re delighted to have partnered with Be.EV which enables us to continue our commitment to increase the number of rapid and ultra-rapid chargers on our network. Together, through Be.EVs exciting growth plans to create charging destinations and our award-winning Allstar Chargepass business payment solution, we make paying for EV charging simple and convenient.
This celebratory offer is the first of its kind for some of Allstar customers which we hope will increase awareness of the benefits of charging on the public network.”
Be.EV is also expanding its network, with plans to install 1,100 charging points nationwide by the end of 2025. The company has partnered with local councils, retail brands like Decathlon, as well as joining the Octopus Electroverse. These partnerships are integral to streamlining the transition to emobility by allowing affordable, easy-access charging.
Asif Ghafoor, CEO and co-founder of Be.EV, added:
“Fleet managers and drivers deserve to have simple charging nationwide. Businesses need their charging to be fast and simple to use, so we’re happy to give Allstar customers access to Manchester’s largest network of rapid and ultra-rapid chargers.
Our sites have been selected with our comprehensive five-step criteria that incorporates local traffic data. This means they’re the best-placed sites for fleet drivers, who need charging in the most convenient places possible given they’re often on the move and can’t afford to go out of their way to look for EV charging.”
